The TENTACLE project was represented at the TE4MD Workshop through a keynote presentation delivered by Dr. Irene Chiesa, highlighting innovative approaches in advanced biofabrication and regenerative medicine.
The presentation, entitled:
“Four-dimensional printing: an enabling fabrication approach for the fabrication of dynamic in vitro models”
focused on the potential of 4D printing technologies as a powerful tool for the development of dynamic and responsive in vitro models. By combining advanced materials with innovative fabrication techniques, 4D printing offers new opportunities to better replicate the complexity of biological systems and support the development of next-generation biomedical solutions.
The keynote provided valuable insights into how dynamic biomaterials and smart manufacturing approaches can contribute to tissue engineering and regenerative medicine, fostering discussion among researchers working at the intersection of biomaterials, biofabrication and healthcare innovation.
Participation in the TE4MD Workshop offered an excellent opportunity to disseminate project-related expertise, strengthen scientific exchange and increase the visibility of TENTACLE within the international research community.
