19th – 20th January, 2026

The TENTACLE consortium gathered in Turin, Italy, at MITIC (Minimally Invasive Therapy and Innovation Centre) of the University of Turin, for the project’s first year General Assembly. The meeting marked an important milestone, celebrating one year of collaborative work within the Horizon Europe project.

Over two days, partners from across Europe met both in person and online to review progress, align on next steps, and strengthen collaboration across disciplines. The General Assembly provided a valuable opportunity to reflect on achievements reached during the first year and to discuss the strategic direction of the project as it moves into its next phase.

The first day was dedicated to internal project activities and exchanges among partners, including a visit to the clinical facilities at Molinette Hospital. Discussions focused on the overall advancement of the project, the integration of different scientific and technological components, and the coordination between research, clinical perspectives and innovation pathways.

On the second day, the meeting continued with coordination and planning sessions.

After its first year, TENTACLE has laid solid foundations for developing a novel, patient-centred and minimally invasive regenerative approach for colorectal diseases. The General Assembly confirmed the strength of the consortium and its shared commitment to advancing research, innovation and dialogue with the broader healthcare community.
