About

The ultimate aim of the project is to:

* Innovate and personalise treatment of colorectal diseases

* Make the treatment of diseases such as familial adenomatous polyposis or ulcerative colitis less invasive through regenerative medicine

* Crafting natural advanced biomaterials to replace the diseased ones thanks to the application of tissue engineering

* Develop new biotechnological tools and apply the research’s results to other diseases’ treatments
